About the job
The IT systems and Business Support Associate ensures the proper functioning of the local Information Technology hard- and software infrastructure. He/she maintains hard- and software systems with adequate reliability, security and performance according to business requirements and I.T. global standards for the JTI offices and Fieldforce in the Netherlands.

With a good understanding of business processes the Systems & Business Support Associate can translate business requirements into IT solutions. Next to a supporting role in local and international projects, the Systems & Business Support Associate carries out the local Dutch IT Support with a “hands-on” mentality and guards the Customer Satisfaction of the IT Support.

Your responsibilities
In this position you play a supporting role in strategic planning of hard- and software systems, systems maintenance and resource planning within the IT department for the company. You assist in identifying the approach and proposed scheduling to meet the evolving business needs.and maintain good partnership relations with all stakeholders and local Management to enable this.

You are responsible for the proper functioning, availability and security of the Netherlands hard- and software infrastructure. This infrastructure and accompanying processes need to be in accordance with business requirements and IT standards. You ensure that Global Standards are met and/or implemented and maintain and test a comprehensive (Technical) Disaster Recovery Plan. Also you have the technical lead in case of DRP execution.

You ensure adequate security and authorization is adhered to in the IT department and user departments concerning the use of hardware, software and data for optimal use and safe guard confidentiality and integrity.

You ensure the companies user community in the Netherlands is provided with continuous support in business systems, hard- and software implementation and maintenance, in line with business needs and approved IT strategy, to ensure or improve the effective and efficient usage of systems and resources.

You are responsible for the management of the IT department in case of absence of the supervisor to ensure smooth functioning and continuation of business.
Also, you follow up the local IT purchasing processes and ensure systems are installed in accordance with company standards.

In this role you work within a project team and report on progress to (IT and/or Business) Management.

Skills, Competencies & Languages
• Education: HBO Level Technische Bedrijfskunde or Informatica completed with Bedrijfskunde;
• Work Expercience: 3 years;
• Language: fluently in both Dutch and English;
• Participation in international projects is a plus;
• Knowledge of business processes in FMCG preferred;
• Knowledge and or experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Project Management methodologies, Microsoft Server environments, Microsoft Client products (Windows 7-8, MS Office), Databases (MS Access, MS SQL);
• Basic knowledge of HTMLASPVBA, VBScript and Javascript.
