This is going to be your job

As a Responsible Investment agile team we design, build and maintain a suite of investment decision support systems that enable our business to make just and informed decisions on ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) related topics. Responsible investment is a fast growing area and is one of APG-AM’s main strategic growth pillars for the years to come. Because this field is constantly changing creativity, collaboration and an engineering mentality are essential qualities.

Your role will be of DevOps engineer focused on software test development and quality assurance. Your main task will be designing test strategy and solutions based on business requirements, executing tests and challenging our software developers. You are outspoken and have clear ideas of the added value of test engineering.

This is what you offer

For this role the team is looking for a person who has both technical skills and soft skills. To be more precise:

  • You have a bachelor degree (preferably master) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another relevant area.
  • Have at least 3 years of working experience as test / quality assurance engineer including test automation frameworks. Understands the fine balance between completeness, effort and (product) risk. Experience with MicroFocus ALM and UFT is a plus.
  • Pro-active attitude, self-motivated, well organized.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and at least one modern development language is required.
  • Can translate complex (non-)functional requirements into a solid test strategy and execute on its plans in various areas such as performance, security, stability, interoperability, usability.
  • Show a clear interest in financial markets and specifically in responsible investment.
  • Have highly developed communication skills and can easily communicate in English (written and verbal).
