Job description
The Global Client MI department is part of GBM Finance and has the global role in delivering services to the customer base across the global network. Main tasks include consolidation, validation and analysis of the Client MI numbers on a monthly basis, as well as production and distribution of Global Client MI reporting.
Client MI reporting is provided to a wide audience from Business Operating Committee members, Regional and Hub Heads, Country Heads, Regional and Country CFO’s to Coverage managers and bankers.
Global Client MI is currently also involved in many migration and development projects. Main objective on the short term is to significantly bring timelines forward for the month end close and the reporting and to improve the data quality in terms of completeness and correctness.
Result/ Deliverable
Timely report development according to business requirements using various reporting tools.
For Client MI, the preferred reporting tool is Business Objects.
- Ensure consistency of reporting specifications and filters
- Develop filters for general use by analysts
- Gather reporting requirements from internal clients
- Participate in discussions about reporting requirements
- Support operational production of monthly reporting
- Provide tools to support data quality control checks during month end close
- Reconciliation of data from various reporting environments
- First line support regarding reporting issues for analysts within the team
- Data processing activities
- Resolution of issues with IT tools
- Involvement in various migration and development projects
Knowledge & skills
- Academic/HBO level
- Qualified BO developer
- Between 2-5 years of experience with report development in BO
- Between 2-5 years of experience within financial services
- Knowledge of management accounting preferred
- Highly skilled in MS Excel, VBA and Access
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Strong developed financial analytical skills
- Knowledge of the banking products has the preference
