Job Descpription
As Applications Engineer you, with the total team, are responsible for the availability and performance of the Merchant Banking IT Applications.
You work within an ITIL based support organization with multiple 2nd and 3rd level teams ( business dedicated or platform dedicated).
- You (help to) solve incidents ( 2nd level ) and provide a wide range of support.
- You coordinate and implement application changes on QA and Production.
Requirements
- At least 4/5 years of work experience in supporting IT infrastructure
- Able to work in a demanding and challenging environment
- Good understanding of ITIL processes
- Able to work both in a team as well as independently
- Strong technical background on Wintel
- Applications to support are Bloomberg Toms, Sophis, Business objects.
- General knowledge of supporting financial markets
- Jboss/Websphere, relational database ( Oracle) knowledge is a big advantage
- Work with an experienced team of professional IT experts
- Flexible (regular work on evenings and weekends)
- Quality/Service minded
- Good Dutch and English speaking
