Voor onze opdrachtgever zijn wij op zoek naar een Business Analyst Fortis Bank (Referentie 2010/02/0081)

Role
An experienced Business Analyst is required to work on new product implementations within the Global Market Business. The BA will analyse the impact of the product implementations (Oil, Carbon, Precious Metals and Fixed Income) within the GMK Business on the Risk Management Merchant Banking (especially Global Markets) enviroment in terms of it’s processes and systems.

Tasks

• pro-actively identify the risk management business needs.
• conduct interviews and workshops in order to identify, capture and refine the business requirements. Will manage the review and approval process.
• team-up with Risk specialists, Business Architects and System Analysts to determine the functional specifications of the systems and the interfaces.
• prepare and assist in UAT testing the Information Systems.

• help the Project Manager in defining the Project Breakdown Structure and Project Deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong financial markets / investment banking experience with excellent understanding of the Risk components and Global Market products.
• Profound knowledge of risk management business needs, credit and market risk calculation methodologies, risk business processes, data quality issues, risk data warehouses and reporting.
• Proven business analysis skills and experience that tasks can be delegated to the business analyst with confidence.

• Organizational sensitivity.

Accomplished in defining business requirements, critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources , refining and structuring what is needed, documenting these needs, having them approved and agreed by stakeholders. Does not get lost in the details. Good report writing skills.
Establishing a structured and disciplined working process to meet the results in challenging timelines.
