Background
Consultant with Desktop Support, Processes and Project implementation experiences. For one of our clients major projects in Kazakhstan, we need to implement a whole new IT infrastructure including the service delivery (including processes). This candidate is required to assist/consult the Onboarding and Service Desk project which is being managed by a Project Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
To assist with onboarding of new locations in Kazakhstan within the standard service delivery modell. The purpose is to ensure that all IT support functions and IT processes
are set in place and operating in accordance with the contractual service levels.
Several of activities are detailed below:
- On-site Service Desk,
- Vista Desktop roll-out,
- IT Asset Management,
- VIP Support,
- Onboarding support
- IT delivery model processes for above activities
Implementation of these activities and processes will be agreed with the Project Manager. The candidate is also required to work with the appropriate focal points for local support
delivery. When working in-country, the person should also act as PM deputy in Kazakhstan.
Functie Eisen
The person needs to have:
- Significant experience in Desktop / Service Desk/VIP Support
- IT knowledge,
- understanding Joint Venture related issues.
- Have set up service delivery + processes into a new organization
- ITIL knowledge
- Process oriented
- PMP or equivalent certification

- Good communication/presentation skills (English)
- Strong drive for project completion
- Understand to work in a large international company
- Understand the impact of issues/incidents on the business
- Customer and Service minded
- Ability to discuss plans on various levels Period of assignment
